All Safety Products, Inc. provides emergency drench showers, eye/face washes , gravity fed eyewash stations in a variety of configurable applications.  Most times, drench showers and eye/face washes that provide diffused spray pattern heads will usually use water more efficiently and effectively, by spreading less water over a wider area, although in a case of emergency eye wash and or drench showers, water conservation is not the highest priority. For most eyewash station and drench shower requirements, current ANSI requirements only mandate a minimum of various pattern widths and heights for the various eyewash types.

In certain climates or where drench showers, eye wash station equipment, and eye/face washes are subject to adverse weather conditions, ANSI Z358.1-2009 clarified the need for tempered water in emergency equipment. Emergency equipment output water temperature during the entire 15-minute use cycle must be within the range of no less than 60[degrees]F to below 100[degrees]F. This requirement drives a more efficient use of the water that flows through emergency equipment. The flow must now be immediately useable, as opposed to having to let it run until it reaches a stable, useable temperature. Pre-testing: Emergency showers and eye/face washes that are substantially assembled in the factory and then pressure-tested prior to shipment are less likely to leak. At All Safety Products, Inc., we sell pre-tested sinks.

Freeze proof: In cold environments, eye/ face wash and emergency shower installations must be freeze-protected. To avoid frozen, broken pipe situations, freeze-protected emergency equipment is often equipped with heat-traced tape and enclosed in freeze-proof housings.  Please visit our website under our heat-traced drench showers.
