It can be used with a variety of filters and chemical cartridges for protection against particulates, toxic gases and vapors, or a combination of these hazards. Applications include hazardous material clean-up, asbestos and lead paint abatement, chemical processing, foundry, smelter and coke oven applications, and nuclear facilities work. The OptimAir® 6A includes a motor/blower module, rechargeable NiCad battery, breathing tube, belt and battery charger as well as Ultravue Facepiece or Tyvek hood. NIOSH approved.
